What 'remote learning' can I expect

Thankyou for continuing to support your child's learning at home; homework, sharing and reading books, times table rockstars or talking about their learning.

In the event that any child has symptoms or gets Covid-19 and needs to learn from home, please read the information in the document above called 'What ‘remote learning’ can I expect from Four Acres Academy' should the need arise. 

Our remote learning offer takes into account feedback from Four Acres families as we aim to work together to support our pupils learning at school or at home.

Loan Devices

The government have issued a limited supply of devices for KS2* pupils to continue their learning at home.  If you would like to request a device for your child to use at home, please complete the form

on the Parents/Useful Information page.

When you have completed the online form we will allocate a device (subject to availability) and ask you to sign the terms and conditions as stated in 'Device loan agreement for pupils'.  A device will then be made available for you to collect.

If you as a family are self-isolating and are unable to collect the device from school you can nominate someone else to collect the device on your behalf. 

 *Should any KS1 pupils require a loan device, please complete the form but be aware that these will only be issued subject to availability after KS2 pupils.

With the government announcement that we are moving into another national lockdown, don't forget, just like before, we are here for our community at this difficult time. We will shortly email with details of:

  • free school meals
  • application for critical worker spaces
  • access to loan laptops & data SIMs
  • our home learning packages
